The Most Wholesome and Breathtaking E3 2019 Memes

The pre-E3 2019 presentations by Microsoft, Ubisoft, Bethesda and other companies brought new announcements, trailers, gameplay demos – and a lot of memes, too! This year's E3 was especially wholesome with Keanu Reeves telling everyone they're breathtaking, Tango Gameworks' Ikumi Nakamura enchanting the audience with her adorable speech and one very good boy stealing the show at the Ghost Recon Breakpoint presentation.

Cyberpunk Keanu 2077

If Keanu Reeves hadn't been considered one of the internet gods before, he certainly was after he unexpectedly appeared as Johnny Silverhand in the trailer for CD Project Red's Cyberpunk 2077 and then came out on stage to present it.

In the trailer, Keanu says exactly two lines. Both have been used in memes, but "we have a city to burn" really stuck around.

But the actor really had to give everyone just one more meme, and a fan helped him out with that. An attendee shouted "You're breathtaking!" to the actor, and he responded by calling him, everyone in the audience and everybody else listening breathtaking in return <3

Ikumi Nakamura

The same day, at the Bethesda press conference GhostWire: Tokyo Creative Director Ikumi Nakamura took the stage. Her presentation was so adorably awkward that many on Twitter could not help but fall in love.

Ubisoft Dog

The next day started with a very good boy entering the stage during the Ghost Recon Breakpoint presentation. While actor Jon Bernthal did not get quite the ovation Keanu Reeves managed to achieve, his rescue dog Bam Bam who accompanied him on the stage did win a lot of hearts on Twitter.

Banjo-Kazooie

Two (technically, three) new fighters for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate were announced by Nintendo – and the iconic video game buddy pair Banjo & Kazooie was the one that got all the memes.

Gooigi

Your old friend Luigi, made entierly of goo? It's more likely than you think. A lesser-known Luigi's Mansion mechanic quickly got memed after it was featured during the Nintendo's June 11th presentation.

Nessa

The last but not least meme from Nintendo: Nessa. The new gym leader to appear in _"Pokémon Sword and Shield":https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/subcultures/pokemon-sword-and-shield only was shown in in the game presentation for a few seconds, but that was more than enough to get the Pokémon fans very, very excited.
