"Mr. Brightside" might have come out in 2003, but it has since become the "Don't Stop Believing" for millennials. The Killers' hit song, omnipresent at bar karaoke nights across the United States, never really went away. But while it might give people memories of the early 00s, 2020, and more importantly, the George Floyd protests against police brutality, have imbued new meaning into the song.

Anyone who has ever written the lyrics to the song in AIM away message is probably familiar with the lyrics "now I'm falling asleep, and she's calling a cab." Some Twitter users, however, are having some fun with "a cab" by removing the space between the two words.

"Now I'm falling asleep, and she's calling ACAB" has been thriving on Twitter since May 25th, when protests against the death of George Floyd and police brutality began, according to Mashable. Since then, many have reported seeing the lyrics on protest signs and in graffiti. Check out some of the examples below:
