Despite battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Alex Trebek hosted yet another episode of Jeopardy! last night and received a surprise at the end of the episode that may go down as one of the best moments in the show's history. Contestant Dhruv Gaur, who entered Final Jeopardy with $2,000 was expected to know the answer to the 'Famous Phrases' category after he spent the entire time smiling after he wrote down his answer. Trebek, who noticed his confidence, even said to Dhruv, "you're smiling. I like that."

However, Dhruv chose to wager $1,995 of his earnings to write down a phrase that should have been the answer. After seeing the words, "We <3 You, Alex," Trebek reacted with enough emotion for Twitter to remember forever. Soon, #WeLoveYouAlex began to trend and many users couldn't help but discuss how much Dhruv's answer moved them.

Dhruv took to his Twitter following the airing of the episode to further explain that Trebek had informed them prior to taping that he was entering yet another round of chemotherapy for his pancreatic cancer.

Pretty much everyone cried the whole time.

Some even disintegrated after watching the heartwarming clip.

The one thing everyone could also agree on, was how much cancer absolutely sucks.

And still this answer was enough to give people hope in the strange and sad world we sometimes find ourselves in.

Even Robin Roberts, who found herself a clue on the same episode couldn't help but spend more time discussing the beautiful moment captured at the end of the episode.

While Dhruv may have only won $5, he also won the hearts of many.

And perhaps it's time the judges reconsider and decide his answer is actually the correct one.

The nonprofit Pancreatic Cancer Action Network took time to spotlight the moment and commend one of America's favorite game show hosts for fighting his battle and for users on Twitter to spread love and concern during November which happens to be Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month.

While the pancreatic cancer survival rates remain extremely disappointing with the one-year relative survival rate at 20%, and the five-year rate at 7%, we are happy to say that 100% of everyone in this country is behind Alex Trebek and his fight against it.
