The Jeremy Renner App was a free mobile app that Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner designed in March of 2017 to interact with his fanbase. The app received a lot of attention in late August of 2019 when users began to impersonate controversial figures such as Jeffrey Epstein and Casey Anthony in the comments section. On September 4th, 2019, Renner announced that he had decided to shut down the app because trolls had poisoned the experience.
