We must work hard. 5 days week work culture would not be affordable for us. At least our 2-3 generations have to take hardcore efforts. The Founder of Infosys had correctly said that our youth should work 70 hrs per week. Work is life. So don't much bother about work life balance. But we may take long holidays once in a year after working tirelessly. If anyone work morning 9 am to 9 pm it will definitely not put any mark on your health. Have your healthy diet. I figured this will benefit me and my company in the long run. Why? The therapist I chose isn't a therapist at all. He feeds me all their traumas and anxieties so I can manipulate them better. Steve? He hates conflict and is a big people pleaser. I make him work weekends every other week. Debra? Daddy issues. I give her the approval that a father would. She works 30% harder. Charles? Afraid of spiders. I put spider wallpaper in the toilets so he takes fewer bathroom breaks. Instead, we put eight candidates at a time in an escape room and observe how they problem-solve among strangers to escape. The entire time, I'm watching every move and listening to every word from a control room. I evaluate them using a criteria matrix | paid McKinsey to develop that assesses their ability to solve problems, lead, make decisions, avoid red herrings, and communicate. For the candidate groups that successfully escape, the useless half is immediately eliminated from the interview process. If a group doesn't escape, all of them are eliminated. So far it's been working great and we've managed to hire only 10x engineers. Its the only realistic way we can: 1) Track their toilet breaks. 2) Make sure they are not spending their working time watching adult movies. 3) Make sure they are not babout my management style to their other halves or family dogs. If they don't like the rules, they are free to work from the office. I had a few messages this morning pointing out my post yesterday had made the cut. What I didn't know about this lunatic sub thread is that there are so many crayon eating nut jobs that still live in their mum's basement out there. The most ironic thing about the sub thread is the name Linkedln Lunatics, when the sub thread itself is full of them. Anyway I've heard what you all think and with immediate effect banned all WFH. This guy can only think of one metric for employee success and that is attendance. Banana pants!
