It's HARD. I am BUSY. And yes, I work early mornings, late evenings, and even weekends. It's an absolute grind. But I love it. Working on my business (BDE) feels like more of a passion or a hobby than it does work. It's fun for me and it's very rewarding, so I don't mind posting up at all brewery on a Saturday to get some work done! (A few weeks ago, I was telling my bartender all about SQL... and yes I was the only girl who brought her laptop to the bar ☺) Working a lot is a sacrifice that I have to (and am willing to) make in order to be successful at 2 things (corporate + entrepreneurship). Sometimes it s waking up at 6am and working until 11pm at night, but I know it's what I have to do to get all my work done! Of course I do set boundaries and plan fun time (and vacation) ahead of time so I don't get burnt out. Just because I love working doesn't mean I don't need a break. Talent Acquisition 7h. | Ex-Slack + Certifie... + Follow My 11 year old daughter had tennis comp on Saturday and was shocked to see her singles opponent was a 15 year old 6 foot tall boy. My daughter is tiny, could nearly fit in my pocket, so she was pretty intimidated. I was too but I hid it and told her 'don't worry, just do your best and have fun.' She beat him 6-0. For anyone applying for jobs this week, remember You've got to be in it to win it You never know what you're capable of until you try The times where you don't win, lose graciously (he wasn't happy) P.S. I would have been just as proud had she lost 6-0, simply because she stepped out onto the court to face a giant. The win was just a bonus. P.P.S. We are hiring ! Link to career page in comments.

Today I made the warehouse team take WAIS approved IQ tests after their shifts. This was the highest score out of 9 employees. It was worse than our executive team's lowest. These people often complained about upper managements decision making. So I put theirs to the test. You can't be afraid to offend. We all have different abilities. Had a manager asked to instead drop down to the warehouse and do physical work, I'd test their physical abilities before the transfer. Delegation is absolutely everything in business. 1st I achieve quarterly numbers consistently! 4d • ☑ Observation! Do you agree? No successful sales leader has low energy hobby! I have never met a successful sales leader who loves knitting. Have you? Met many who play football, do judo... basically kick ars. And will tell you one more thing, how good they are at their hobby, that's how good they are at their job! Basically, sales interview should be done while playing football! BTW, I do not include gym workout as high intensity sport, regardless what others may say!

I'm the first one off the plane. + Follow 3. During days of the VID, it was the seat that protected me the most from the inquisitional eyes of flight attendants.
