Are you a fan of the MOTHER series? If so, check out "Cognitive Dissonance":http://cogdis.tazmily.com/ here. It's a fangame made in RPG Maker 2003, set in between MOTHER and EarthBound. I downloaded it expecting some edgy fanfiction in a setting similar to the Halloween Hack-- and ended up with something much, much more. Despite being made on a crappy engine and the beginning being rather underwhelming, after the first few chapters it quickly picks up and becomes quite amazing, really. Again, if you're a fan of MOTHER it is definitely a must-play. You'll probably see why a few of these images are relevant if you get through it. Also this is the first time I actually put an image together. Stay dandy

What I expected, what I got (Hope from Xenoblade X)

When I first learned about Hope in Xenoblade X, I was rolling my eyes that she's the Over Religious character in a universe where the Earth was destroyed, and that she was really Frail in Battle...at first. After doing all of her Affinity Quests and having her be on my team all the time, Not only is she my favorite Party Member and Healer, but she's also my Favorite Character in the game, and she's optional! That...says A lot about the game when the Optional Party Members are the most likeable.

Yeah...Fate/loli is a scary thing. At first I thought it was fanservice and then 3rei comes along and suddenly it's Alt!Heaven's Feel + Notes. It's like watching your cute 8 year old neighbor do cute things for 2 years and then all of a sudden you find out she's an FBI agent.
