When I first learned about Hope in Xenoblade X, I was rolling my eyes that she's the Over Religious character in a universe where the Earth was destroyed, and that she was really Frail in Battle…at first. After doing all of her Affinity Quests and having her be on my team all the time, Not only is she my favorite Party Member and Healer, but she's also my Favorite Character in the game, and she's optional! That…says A lot about the game when the Optional Party Members are the most likeable.
