Ex-Firefighter Has Racist Meltdown At Walmart Worker, Tells Her To 'Speak English'

A series of public freakout videos showing an ex-firefighter having what many online are calling a "racist meltdown" at a number of Walmart employees and customers are going viral on TikTok after the man got into a verbal altercation with a worker who, according to him, could not speak English. The video was posted in three parts by @kaysmiles78 earlier this week, each boasting millions of views at the time of writing.

The description of the first video reads, "Cornered Walmart employee yelling at her for not being American & not speaking English. Yes, I got between them and involved." The video starts at what appears to be moments after the male Karen has told an employee she needs to speak English, a point he repeats a number of times during the rant, saying, "When you’re in America, you better learn our language." He also yells at the woman that she should go to church and "needs prayer," presumptively revealing himself as a Christian.

The man quickly claims he's an "ex-firefighter and peace officer" for the LA fire department, to which another Walmart employee tells him a uniform doesn't give him the right to be racist. He defends his statements by mentioning the September 11th, attacks, shouting, "They murdered 343 of my fellow firemen." He then brings his point home, saying, "Learn English. it’s America, it’s not Spain, and it’s not Mexico." Throughout the videos the man vaguely threatens the employees, boasting about his training and how nobody wants to see the muscles under his baggy clothes.

Things take a strange turn in the second video when a man covered in tattoos comes to the Walmart employee's defense only to reveal he's part of the Aryan Brotherhood. The group of Walmart employees surrounding the action consistently grows as the male Karen continues to defend his right to tell the employee she should speak English, repeatedly yelling at everyone to back away from him. The final video ends with the man talking to a Walmart employee and telling her that "people die" if they don't speak English in America, saying he's been on over 25,000 emergency calls.

Kaysmiles78 has yet to make a statement on the videos but has responded to numerous comments on them with more context. The man's identity is unknown, although she confirms the altercation took place in a Lincoln, Nebraska Walmart off Highway 27, which appears to have a history of altercations like this based on a comment correctly guessing the exact Walmart made on the third video.
