On Sunday, footage of a house explosion in Plum, Pennsylvania quickly spread across social media as the viral video trended online.

While not a late promotional piece for Oppenheimer as some memes joked, the deadly blast was talked about for two main components — the absolute size of it and the mystery surrounding how a house in a peaceful little community could suddenly explode that violently.

It, unfortunately, was confirmed that the blast was fatal for four adults and one child, including two neighbors of the former owners.

The footage of the blast was initially caught on a Ring doorbell camera, which showed the explosion climbing high into the sky in an instant. The video has since quickly spread online as it's gone viral across social media, despite the tragic deaths involved.

This isn't the first instance of a Ring camera having captured a viral moment either, as this year has shown memes such as Open Na Noor and Doorbell Cat becoming increasingly popular online.
