Long-time trans rights supporter, activist and Twitch streamer Keffals recently invited known drama kingpin Keemstar onto her stream after he tweeted out his support for trans rights, most recently as a way to push back against the controversial video game Hogwarts Legacy.

At the time of Keemstar's tweet earlier this week, many were hesitant about his purported transition to a seemingly pro-trans stance, with memes and skepticism aplenty being posted about him and Keffals' reaction to his statement online in recent days.

Yesterday afternoon, Keemstar then joined Keffals on her Twitch channel for a stream she promoted to discuss the YouTuber "becoming a trans ally," which has since been viewed over 26,000 times.

After Keffals had Keemstar on stream, she stated that she then realized he wasn't actually the supporter she initially believed, tweeting her afterthoughts out following the discussion.

Shortly after, tweets went up about Keemstar's perceived lack of authenticity as he quickly received backlash from some on Twitter, with people also accusing Keffals of platforming Keemstar and not caring about the damage he's caused in the past — some even claiming she simply used him as a means to get further views.

The controversy that's carried over into today notably created a sentiment that was the opposite of months ago when numerous Twitter users rallied behind Keffals in the face of doxxing and death threats allegedly at the hands of Kiwi Farms members.

Earlier today around noon, Keffals then posted an apology video on her YouTube channel addressing some of the ongoing controversy under the title "I’m sorry. I will do better."
