Nah, this is a pretty infamous scene. Goku's not getting shot by Frieza or something, he's getting nearly killed in his ultimate super duper god form by some mook with a regular blaster with the justification that "his guard was down." This led to it becoming a common /a/ joke to Photoshop any person with a laser being able to kill Goku.
