The two links are excellent swimmerss….remember the whole Zora armor bit? Or How at least toon link skill in short distance swimming? They both…ah forget it. Nearly everyone in picture except sonic and a couple others have been known to have some swimming skill.

Actually, the Mario cast are all pretty much excellent swimmers. Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, and Diddy Kong can breathe infinitely in some games and for exceedingly long periods of time in others while also being able to swim incredibly fast at very low depths.

And Olimar doesn't need to swim because of the whole helmet thing.
