Muslim women don't wear the burqa or hijab out of modesty or chastity. They wear them because if they don't, they run a real strong chance of getting raped in the streets or murdered by a family member for being a slut. It would be more empowering for Muslim women to burn the rags in front of Olympic cameras than to compete in them, which only shows off to the world how well-trained Muslim women remain as possessions of men. If it's just a swimsuit to you, then you don't understand the culture behind it.
