Accepting the person is the point. He freely associated with and cared for thieves and prostitutes and such without berating them or demanding that they change.

Also, since it’s in the meme: The Bible does not teach racism or misogyny. Paul mentions multiple times that your race does not matter, and implores the men of the Church to love their wife’s in a respectful and selfless way.

On behalf of Christians that--while not perfect--are doing their best to exemplify Christ’s example, I apologize for the hurt the Church has caused. But just like not all vegetarians are hipsters or morons who think all meat eaters are evil, not all Christians are hypocrites either. Jesus is real, He loves you, and His gift of salvation is available. Side note: no, I’m not a vegetarian.
