Has nobody mentioned that with the painter ability, Adeline could return?

My reaction:
"Oh sweet, I really liked the animal friends, I'm glad they're back. I wonder if the others---"
"Wait, MARX?! MARX IS A DREAM FRIEND?! How? Why? Who cares? Awesome!"
"Yay, Gooey's back! I really missed him. The fan service is awesome!"

Honestly, I don't even know what to expect after Marx of all people coming back.
