I'm not pro-corporation. I definitely think that Flint, Michigan should have access to clean water, and that's what this quote is all about. But rather than join the Nestle hate wagon, I want something noted about what the CEO actually said instead of this goddamn strawman argument.

He said that the basic water you need to live is important, kind of 'duh', but that water has a price and is a resource. He argues that if you want to water your lawn, you're spending a resource you should pay for, because that same water can be used for other purposes including something life sustaining. Suppose all city water was a human right, nothing would stop people from just turning all the faucets to max. But if all water were paid for, people only spend what is useful and thus there is enough for everyone's needs.

There's no need to make this guy out as someone who wants to watch people fucking die so Nestle can make a quick buck. A lot of the reporting on this issue is massively oversimplified, click-bait even.
