Then suddenly some random artist draw Bowser as a Princess Peach form.

To be honest, Toadette never was an interesting character for me, and I'm not suprised she never was that popular.

And if you think about it, the fact that gaining a new form that resembles a far more popular character than you is your best chance to become more relevant is… kinda sad.

No wonder at first the big deal was with how the Super Crown worked and stuff about the Mario lore rather than Peachette herself, and now she got overshadowed by the very thing that was supposed to make her more relevant in the first place.
