Overview
The March 2025 Amouranth Home Invasion, also known as Amouranth Crypto Burglary Attempt or Amouranth Bitcoin Robbery Attempt, refers to a violent burglary at Kick streamer Amouranth's (real name Kaitlyn Siragusa) Houston, Texas home on March 2nd, 2025, when three attackers allegedly attempted to seek access to her cryptocurrency assets and steal them by breaking into her house, beating her and holding her at gunpoint. Amouranth defended herself by reportedly shooting one of the three attackers, who then fled her property and escaped. A few hours after the incident, the streamer was taken to the hospital and also shared her security camera footage, showing the trio of masked men. The attempted burglary gained significant online attention and viral debate, while some netizens claimed the robbery was purportedly orchestrated after Amouranth publically stated she had over $20 million in Bitcoin and showed her crypto wallet in a tweet from late November 2024. Days later, Amouranth then revealed in a stream with Adin Ross that it was her husband who shot one of the intruders. An alleged screenshot of the streamer's OnlyFans promoting NSFW pictures of her titled "This week I almost died" appeared online shortly after, sparking backlash and fueling theories that the incident was staged or that she was exploiting it for money.
