Boruto - you can't be serious

That's one of the things I don't like about Boruto. Naruto got his happy ending and his waifu, but in the process he turned into nothing more than an office rat. It was never really about becoming Hokage anyways. That was what he told people, but all he really wanted was to be recognized as a person and respected instead of looked down upon. It would've been good character development for him to go "Y'know what, maybe I don't need to be Hokage after all" and instead take over the noodle stand or something.

In that timeline some distant day in the future a clueless thief robs a noodle shop and gets the most confusing ass beating of their life.
