Then, instead of getting bastard PVE events and nothing more, they are going to make an entire game from Overwatch's basis, with a few more RPG elements and a story that isn't focused on flashbacks and origin stories. Thus, OW 2

If you watched Battleborn, the game that came out at the same time as OW but got completely anihilated by its popularity, that's basically what they did, only inside one single game. It wasn't super refined but it was kinda fun and it worked more like a borderlands with big bosses than typical hero shooter.

THEN AGAIN, there is a good chance people don't get it and only play OW 2 because it's more recent, so I'm not sure of anything. The way they announced it, they are supposed to be 2 different games with different purposed, but they might just export everything on it in the end. I just don't know dude.
