Epi was part of a breeding program at Auburn that scientifically breeds canines that can be used in detection, Due to Epi's great sense of odor recognition, she was chosen to be a part of the Accelerant Detection program at the ATF. Epi is trained to smell accelerants that can be used to start fires, so Epi is an excellent tool and resource that can be used by Rockford's Fire Investigation Team. Epi is very energetic and has a high drive to work so she is constantly sniffing. When Epi is not working she enjoys playing fetch with her numerous toys.
