... I am a compassionate enough person to wear a mask, social distance, and reschedule plans, even when it's an inconvenience to me, in the hopes of keeping others safe. Yet, I have to admit that there is nothing in this world that could have convinced me to cancel or postpone our wedding or even wear a mask on that particular day. No amount of threatening me with fines or jail time or warning me about the risks to my and others' safety would have dissuaded me from wanting to fully experience THE most important day of my life the way I truly wanted. I don't mean to downplay the risks of COVID-19. I simply believe that some things are worth the risk. I can't think of anything more special, sacred, and worthy of such a risk than a wedding! For those of you being bullied into second- guessing yourselves and the plans you've made for your wedding, I feel for you. And if you decide to go forward with your special day regardless of the risks and warnings and consequences then know that I am with you 100%! 28 19 Comments honestly cannot imagine prioritizing my wedding over people's lives.
