The whole notion of "hypersexualized" or "oversexualized" is just a modern woke-progressive reskin of old-school sex-negative puritanism. Just dress it up in academic rationalizations and change targets from "think of the children" to "think of the women". As long as you don't sound like a religious moralist, you can happily parrot them in functionally implying that sexiness in media is a bad thing.

since sexual attraction is largely based on the physical body, the physical act,
is rooted in archetypal primal concepts of masculinity and femininity in the real, physical world.
I don't even think that notion of non-inherent sexuality is entirely wrong, or wrong at all, but I'd like to hear more on that
