r/FuckYouKaren - Posted by u/Living_Will8275 1 day ago Asian Karen called the cops on me at a dog park (I'm also Asian). Tldr: Incredibly rude and entitled woman called the police on me because she didn't like how I yelled at her even though she started the yelling herself. Grossed me out how she wasted policing and tax payer money for petty s--- like this. Long version: my 7 months old puppy and I frequent this neighborhood elementary school athletic- field/dog park after 5pm. Today was no different than any other day we arrived at the park after work and my dog was playing with her doggies friends. She's running around and having fun. This middle aged Asian woman and her teenage son showed up with their white lab outside the latched gate about to come in, my dog rushed over to meet the new dog just like she would to any other new dogs coming in. I called her name, she wasn't responding so I ran over, but on my way there, the son already let the gate open wide and with their dog still outside the gate, my dog dashes out of the gate and I saw him grabbing her forcefully by her harness. The whole entire motion finished with his son dragging my dog back in the park and latching the gate back up while the 3 of them still outside the gate. I finally arrived with the leash and while I was relieved my dog didn't run out to the streets, the woman started to tell me "my son was doing you a favor and your dog bit him", I went "you guys let the gate open wide in the first place knowing there are many unleashed dogs in the park. My dog doesn't bite people." She then insisted her son was bitten, I asked to see the bite marks, she never showed and said there is a scratch. I was already p----- and annoyed so I said "ok I'm sorry and thank you" she just started yelling at me, I walked away. Moments later she and her son and their dog came in the park, her son went to play basketball immediately and she was on her phone. 12/14/13 I went here tonight based on the good yelp reviews and that it says that it's "good for kids." LOL. This place SUCKS for kids! It was full of all professional people who really don't want to be bothered with a family. One woman even asked her friend she was having dinner with if they could turn their chairs to face the other way. Sadly, my four year old misbehaved and the people in this restaurant literally made it SO MUCH WORSE! I felt awful but in retrospect I think those people could have acted more like decent human beings and not make the situation worse by gawking and staring.
