I can't speak for everyone – in fact I'm certain most people on KYM will have a very different view on this – but I just find it refreshing to see an Internet waifu who just looks like a normal person. Not an unnaturally tall vampire, not some anthropomorphic animal, not a "humanized" depiction of a planet or a virus or a container ship – just a normal fucking person. Granted, she is actually a "virtual assistant", but it looks like they were going for a "ordinary Samsung retail worker" look and I think that's what a lot of people imagine her as.

Maybe I'm just a fucking normie loser, but this appeals to me more than the stuff we normally get on the trending images page.
