Also, just as an aside, am I the only one who finds it suspicious that most, if not all of these takedowns have been targeted towards GilvaSunner and specifically GilvaSunner? Other OST channels like Nintendo Medley, Dystify, and Joe V.G.M. are all still up.

Does Nintendo hold some kind of grudge against Gilva? Of all the channels to strike, why him? Better yet, why stop at him? And on the other side of the spectrum, why even bother going through all of this when you can't purchase Nintendo music on digital platforms, anyway?

And before you pull the "BECAUSE NINTENDO HATES THEIR FANS AND THEY HATE YOU AND THEY'RE ANTI-CONSUMER REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" card, let me say this: Sometimes Nintendo is stupid, but they're not dumb. The fact this happened only a couple times in the past few years, with some instances like the aforementioned Geno music takedown being taken into account, is more so a microcosm of how easily abuseable YouTube's copyright system is. Anyone can pull this kind of stuff to either A) make a corporation look bad (which given the current landscape of the Internet, people love to hate on corporations), or B) through copyright takedowns, fool people into thinking something is coming, like Geno in Smash, or official Nintendo music releases.

Bottom line is don't believe everything you see on the Internet, and stop assuming corporations are the spawn of Satan.
