Kirby Air Rider's is less than a month away and the hype couldn't be higher! There has been a lot of concern over the fact that the game won't be receiving any DLC or title updates. Which is quite the double edged sword. The game won't come out has a half-bake cash grab, but a drawback is that if you're favorite character doesn't get in there's no second chances! Though hope is not lost. Unlike Smash, the directs seem to be deliberately omitting information to give us some surprises. We already know if some unnanounced Tracks & Machines, but what's really on everyones mind are the hidden characters Sakurai stated that the riders we got are the only ones revealed SO FAR. I though it would be fun to share me personal hopes/prediction for these unknown Riders. Featuring of obvious no-brainers and some self indulgent wish fulfillment. My conservative estimate is that the complete roster would include 30 playable riders, with an upper of 40. (I'd say there would be no more than 50. The 16 player mode being a main factor. I'd say inspite of the pressure put on by Road Trip routes, anyone has a chance to get in. Was Starman really anymore relevant than characters like Fairy Queen and Mace Knight before his reveal? The directs have shown us that Sakurai has really put a lot of passion into the game to really create something ambitious. The fact that floating armless npcs like Scarfy got in show that there really isn't a template for who qualifies as an Air Rider. It was genuinely surprised how tricky it was to come up with characters for the upper estimate since a lot of my personal hopes have already been confirmed or denounced. Iron Mam, Leo, Kibble and Fluff could be swapped out for other characters. I have seen a lot of Adeleine doom posting on twitter lately but I believe people threw in the towel too fast. There's a lot of 64, refrences Sakurai did fool us into thinking Top Ride wasn't returning so it's likely a bait-and-switch. I'm sure he kmnows how popular she is in the fanbase too. He put Ridley in Smash Bros after all. I know 2 64 representatives is kinda pushing it (Adeleine doesn't count since she technically debut in Dream Land 3 but anything's possible. The least likely to get in, I would say is Prince Fluff, he'd probably be too difficult to render in a 3D environment and Taranza seems to have the grappling hook mechanic already. The only crossover character I could see getting in is Qbby. I could see Gordo getting in as a joke character.
