Minecraft Movie - Jokes on OP, apparently even children hate this movie.

They're right though, 40-year old men aren't the target demographic. It's Minecraft fans. We think it sucks.

Situation is similar to movies. The adult is the one driving to the theater and paying for the ticket, if the movie is something they want to watch too, that's more incentive for them to do so.
