Then I watched this show and realized I was a coward. I was afraid of getting excited, of getting hopeful or invested in anything because I fear disappointment or regret An optimist is tougher than a pessimist, because an optimist has to face disappointment far, far more often. I'm not going to be weak anymore. I'm going to risk being let down, because the world will not beat me into apathy and hate and make me build a wall around my heart ever again
