Sure, he's more popular than Tosh, but 'legend' is pretty overblown.

The only thing that Hasbro did with the Lyra plushie was send a Cease & Desist notice to the guy trying to sell it and a request to remove some of the pictures.
They had no larger reaction to the fanbase as a whole.
I highly doubt that the whole company is suddenly going to turn its back on an entire fandom because of some silly 20 segment on a TV show.
I suspect this will blow over within the month.
