I personally don’t like Grammar Nazis because it often seems people resort to correcting others when they don’t have a legitimate argument. However, I simply cannot stand the way they say ’Hooves’ and ‘Gala’ in the show. It’s an American show and I know their pronunciation is totally correct in the USA. Furthermore I have no reason to be angry, and yet I still find myself shouting the British-English pronunciations in my head like a damn petulant child.
