The Weekly Meme Roundup: Frank Heffley Schizophrenia, Meme Drought, 8 Free Pizzas And More

Well everyone it's official, the meme drought is over and we have five examples of viral memes from this week to prove it.
Over on Twitter / X, everyone was getting down with the viral Monsters vs. Aliens meme "Don't Cry, Little Monster." Meanwhile, TikTok got two nightmarish new editing memes with "8 Free Pizzas" and "Frank Heffley Schizoposting" and the last episode of Invincible got everyone talking about being the "victim of their own success."
If you're thirsty for new memes after that oh-so-lengthy drought, here are five of the biggest memes from this week to satiate your hunger.
Don't Cry, Little Monster
Monsters vs. Aliens fans were treated with a new meme format this week as a scene from the animated short Night of the Living Carrots was transformed into the "Don't Cry, Little Monster" meme.
In the scene, the blob monster B.O.B. is tasked with eating zombie carrots. These carrots make him have a flashback to when he was a baby in a military facility.
The flashback, which is what the meme is based on, shows young B.O.B. strapped into a high chair being force-fed carrot puree as General Monger tells him, "Don't cry, little monster. Uncle Monger's got enough carrot puree to feed you your entire life." Clearly, B.O.B. was not a fan of the carrot puree.
The scene became the subject of edits on Twitter this week. Some of the most popular examples have users lip dubbing over General Monger and altering his speech to reflect new subjects,
For example, a post with more than 35,000 likes about the DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, or one about how Hollow Knight: Silksong is never coming out.

I Am A Victim Of My Own Success
The third season of Invincible just wrapped up, and meme culture has felt the impact with formats like the Invincible War OCs and now, "I Am a Victim Of My Own Success."
This meme comes from a particularly intense scene in the last episode of the season. We won't go into too much detail to avoid spoilers, but at one point, a Viltrumite warrior named Conquest stands over the titular hero and goes on an insane monologue about how feared he is among his people.
By the end of the speech, with a bleeding nose, he concludes that he is a victim of his own success and that his life has suffered because he's so good at the terrible things he does.
This moment has become a pretty big meme over on Reddit and Twitter lately. It's being used in a largely ironic way alongside jokes about doing something so well that it negatively affects you in some unexpected or tragic way.
There have also been some pretty good edits comparing the speech to the album cover for DJ Khaled's Suffering From Success.

We Just Got 8 Free Pizzas
The 2010s sit-com The Middle has been getting a lot of love from TikTokers lately and the latest evidence of that comes with the absurd "We Just Got 8 Free Pizzas" meme.
@hdchjc6 #foryou #fyp #movie ♬ original sound – Hdchjc
This meme is based on a scene from a 2017 episode of the show where the Heck family's home address is mixed up with a neighbor's, resulting in some good fortune for them.
In the scene, eight free pizzas are delivered to their home thanks to the faulty address, which Frankie Heck accepts very willingly. She walks into the room with the pizzas, announces, "We just got eight free pizzas," and the youngest son Brick laughs and celebrates in a way that can only be compared to a Fortnite emote.
The meme follows a very similar format to January's SueTok memes, which was denoted by absurd and outlandish edits of another scene from the show featuring Brick's sister, Sue.
Essentially, TikTokers are running the scene through as many filters and effects as possible for wild results and some of the top examples are gaining millions of views on TikTok.

Frank Heffley Schizophrenia
Schizoposters found a new target this week and it's none other than Frank Heffley of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise.

Much like the "eight free pizzas" meme, this format is all about editing clips from the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies, specifically those that involve Frank Heffley, in nightmarish ways.
The memes started with a video that uses a scene from the movie to make Frank appear schizophrenic, imagining that his family fades away once he takes his schizophrenia medication. From there, TikTokers ran with the idea of Frank being schizophrenic, turning one simple meme into a whole trend.
The format has evolved over the past week or so to also include image macro and object-labeling formats that talk about Frank Heffley's schizophrenia. One meme even claims that the format took us out of the so-called 2025 meme drought! This brings us to the next topic …

March 2025 Meme Drought
Earlier this month, TikTokers decided that we were in a "meme drought" after they failed to find a solid choice for the most dominant meme of the month. Now, that drought seems to be over.

It's arguable whether or not there was ever a drought to begin with. Throughout March, several new memes have come and gone on TikTok alone, not to mention the memes happening in other corners of the Internet.
If we want to take things up another notch, the very idea of the March 2025 meme drought and its spread through memes and edits turned the drought itself into a meme, which has been a big topic of discourse over on TikTok lately.
If there ever was a meme drought, it was arguably squashed the second it was noticed thanks to memes about the meme drought. Explain that, atheists.
Now, TikTokers are realizing that the meme drought is over with every new meme that comes this month. Some are claiming that "Eight Free Pizzas" broke it, while others are claiming that "Frank Heffley Schizophrenia," and so on and so on.
Here's a tip for next time. TikTok oracles: maybe don't call a drought when there are still weeks left in the month.
