Giovanni is known as the evil mastermind of Team Rocket in the Pokemon franchise. In the games Red and Blue, Giovanni uses his organization to steal the Silph Scope (a tool used to see ghosts) and the Master Balt (a Pokeball which can capture any Pokemon without fail) Giovanni alse uses his team to create a clone of Me namely Mewtwo. Mewtwo goes insane because of being captured by humans and breaks free to wreak havoc The Silph Scope could catch ghosts which were strong gainst psychics (which Mewtwo is). The Master Ball was a last-chance effort to stop Mewtwo. iovanni was trying to save the world.
