Even with all the drama surrounding Twilicorn, I wanted so badly to like this episode, but it was way too rushed to do the cutiemark swapping part justice.

Also, Rainbow Dash's special talent doing Sonic Rainbooms, but apparently that translates into controlling the weather (and last I checked, there are A LOT of Pegasi in Ponyville who are responsible for the weather). For all the continuity shout outs this episode had, it seemed to be ignorant about the characters in a lot of other ways.
