Chengelings Inspired By: Butterfly Antennae Inspired By: Rhinoceros Beetle All Changelings have a layer of exo- skeleton covering the back, as well as a small patch that overlays the breast Inspired By: A Canterlot Wedding These heavy-set Armored Changelings are the brawn of the colony. As Changelings go, they are not the brightest of the bunch, and are definitely not the first pick for the delicate and deceptive business of infiltrating a pony community with their imitation powers. However, their curved shovel-like horns make them excellent laborers for digging new tunnels, and even better soldiers for when push comes to shove on the battlefield. Their heavy thick carapace covers their delicate wings during melee combat, and gives them almost unstoppable momentum in an open charge. Though they can still fly, they are clumsier and slower in the air than most other Changelings Antennaed Changelings have ears that are extended into large feelers. They boast above-average intelligence, and heightened sensory acuity especially with regards to smell and hearing, as well as the ability to nav igate environments with poor visibility. This makes them very effective as scouts and spies, and are often the first sent to infiltrate a new pony community to prey upon. Though these feelers are a bit of a hindrance for speed, both in the air and on land, they have a secondary use by serv- ing as tentacles that can bind and subdue enemies without harming them, so they can be interrogated, tortured, or used as hostages. Inspired By: Dragonfly and Scorpion These are the "standard" changelings that make up the majority of the colony's population. They have a more even balance of strength, speed and intelligence. ALL changelings have the ability to imitate their enemies. Generals' Helmet Front View Side View Changeling Generals wear intimidating helmets and spikey horse- shoes, as a sign of their authority. They are like the nobility of the colony, born with naturally-heightened intelligence, and are in charge of coordinating the Changeling armies, ensuring the Queen's orders are carried out. Their Dragonfly wings enable ex- ceptional speed and maneuverability in the air.
