We will never have a serious national discussion on race because everyone is too afraid that if they were to phrase something slightly wrong that they would be deemed a racist by our hyper-politically-correct society

If it was a black man who shot a white kid, the black community would immediately support the black man. And vice versa. It's all about race, not "justice." The justice system is pretty much a rotting corpse at this point.
