On August 30th, 2015, Twitter ^[2] user @breexnichole retweeted a since-deleted tweet by the @NoChillPosts Twitter account that reads, "WHEN YOURE ABOUT TO UNFOLLOW SOMEONE YOUVE BEEN FOLLOWING SINCE DAY 1" (shown below).

On September 7th, Tumblr ^[3] user pudonkers shared the post. In a little over four years, the post received more than 296,000 notes (shown below).

Three years later, on July 26th, 2018, Redditor ^[4] READMYSHIT shared the image with the caption "when your best friend messages you asking what ligma is." The post received more than 810 points (96% upvoted) in about a year and a half (shown below, center).
