Having played all, my vote is on Spec Ops: The Line. WD is great, but I feel that Spec Ops was a much more significant when it comes to videogame narratives and it’s critique on the immense popularity of Modern Military FPS games. Unlike so many big name shooters which fetishize and trivialize war, Spec Ops gives us players a more authentic experience. An experience of war that is extremely grim, terrifying, uncaring, and plain barbaric, much like the real thing, no?
