You know, maybe Sakurai is fond of Waluigi but just can’t think of a moveset to him?

I mean, Waluigi has to be a very prominent Assist Trophy since he appeared in the video with Sakurai and other Assist Trophys (Like Isabelle, who also has a plush toy) didn’t.

Maybe he was in the video alongside Sakurai because Sakurai actually likes him but just don’t know how he would work as a playable character, so he decided to give Waluigi a little time in the spotlight.

I admit, when I saw Waluigi in the direct, I actually smiled, because that means he is a somebody and not just any other Assist Trophy.

Or maybe Sakurai is just a troll who feeds on our tears.
