Dipper then tells Stan solemnly that its all over since the journal was destroyed, he reveals he has the other two journals AND copied the entirety of journal 3 to Dipper and Mabel, without Bill knowing. This would give them a slight advantage over Bill and having Stan reveal he's been hiding more things from Dipper when he promised not to keep more secrets from him. And with the journal seemingly destroyed, Bill goes completely forward in the next episode (season 2 finale) with his "big plan."
