It’s a doctored picture from Little Rock, Arkansas when the schools were being desegregated with the Little Rock Nine.

Little Rock was desegregating following the order from Brown v. Board. There were no major issues of violence or hostility to the measures at first. However, Gov. Faubus and the Arkansas legislature were determined to disallow integration, so Faubus sent in the Arkansas National Guard to prevent it. As a result of government officials acting as they did (along with the “Southern Manifesto” from southern congressmen opposing Brown), there was more disruption and violence than if it had simply been allowed. Einsenhower eventually nationalized the Arkansas National Guard and sent in the 101st Airborne to desegregate the school.

TL;DR: Dark Pit is being compared to a black child in the Jim Crow South. People hating on Dark Pit are being compared with racists.
