Kuvira's Earth Kingdom Army uses rank insignias. In the United States, two downward-facing chevrons represents an Airman First Class in the Air Force, and in the Navy and Coast Guard, a Petty O cer 2nd Class In the Army and Marine Corps·two upward-facing chevrons indicate a Corporal. In the United Kingdom, Bolin's insignia corresponds directly to that of a Royal Army Corporal. Corporals are junior non-commissioned officers that assist commissioned officers by commanding fireteams, squads, and sections or perform a technical task. It normally takes anywhere from 2 to 6 years to make CPL. That means Bolin has been promoted at least 2 or 3 times, and is at the point where he has the authority to command about 5-10 people under him Our Bolin is growing up!
