After reading the story, however, this is apples and oranges to the Michael Morones story. Though bronies are bound to circle the victim wagon and, yet again, try to use this against 'haters' (seriously! look http://tinyurl.com/n52drbl), I can't even make up the irony that it seems like it was BRONIES who bullied this guy: ATE LASSER "In his spare time, he enjoyed writing fantasy stories about the characters from the children's cartoon My Little Pony on a fiction website...But in May, he was struck off from the website over claims one of his stories had been copied from another user." Now let's not jump to any dogmatic conclusions (even though I doubt it'l ever be revealed by the media who exactly these bullies were), but I feel safe in saying there's only one group of people who would've not only given a damn VIDEOs about this but would've gone out of their way to harass and insult a brony over it: other bronies. However, here's the flip side of the coin. Unlike Michael Morones, who was an eleven year old child with a mental disorder, this guy was a 19 year-old; and unlike a child being bullied in person (feeling he was not safe from the classroom or the bus ride home), "Adam", here, was insulted online by trolls...over MLP fan fiction he apparently plagiarized -I don't recommend you to make videos with talking... otherwise I'll just lol (laugh out loud) Umm... no offence, but you shouldn't skip English lessons at school dude I'm not gonna lie, these are rather weak comments. What bronies say about us in our inbox or the stalkers say on their pages are FAR more vile than this, and though the article says, "police believe bullies posted more vile comments in the hours before Adam's death," as tragic as it is for someone to take their life because of bullying, I'm just going to say it: he should ve known better. LIKED BY THIS PAGE ReichBall Yes, I can't imagine the kind of pain the parents and loved ones are going through. Yes, I hope and pray that they will be able to pick up their lives and move on, as difficult as it's going to be. And yes, it'll be nice to see bronies give their 15-minutes of feels' and pretend they care for another human being (even though take "brony" and "MLP" out of this story and replace it with something like "otaku" or "furry" and they wouldn't care), this is a case of being SO insecure with oneself that the emasculating and apathetic natures of the brony fandom were probably the LAST thing this guy needed...well, outside of being ostracized and bullied by them. It's irritating how this al could've been avoided had he manned up, realized just how vile the fandom really is, said "this isn't worth it" and moved on F--- Bronies End Rabid Bronyism English (UK) Privacy Terms Cookies More Facebook © 2014 This is a lesson for ANYONE that gets harassed on the internet for something they make. A lesson to all bronies, in particular, is If you keep feeling sorry for yourself, as in you keep eating off the attention you get by telling us and others how 'bad' you've got it, no one else in the world can improve your life for you, and sure as Hell no fandom or fictional ponies will.
