Voter #5: I only watch the ones that my kid wants to see, so I didn't see [Thel Boxtrolls but I saw Big Hero 6 and I saw [How to Train Yourl Dragon 121. We both connected to Big Hero 6- I just found it to be more satisfying. The biggest snub for me was Chris Miller and Phil Lord not getting in for [Thel Lego [Movie]. When a movie is that successful and culturally hits all the right chords and does that kind of box-office-for. that movie not to be in over these two obscure freakin' Chinese f----- things that nobody ever freakin' saw [an apparent reference to the Japanese film The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, as well as the Irish film Song of the Sea]? That is my biggest bitch. Most people didn't even know what they were! How does that happen? That, to me, is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. MY VOTE: Big Hero 6

Hey, a**hole, for your information, the Academy youre representing awarded on of those "Chinese cartoons" over one DreamWorks movie and TWO Disney movies, and that one wasnt exactly popular or a massive box office hit (compared to other animated movies at least).
.
You know, being totally honest here, I did watch most of the movies nominated (except The Boxtrolls… shame on me because I love Laika) and i honestly thought that Big Hero 6 and Dragon 2 were the best of the bunch (and before you start hating on me, Song of the Sea and Princess Kaguya are also pretty damn good movies, I just didnt like them as much as the other movies made by their respective companies).
.
But even I prefer those movies, that doesnt mean I cant recognize the qualities of the other nominations during my judgement over wich one deserved to win in my own opinion.
.
I respect the Academy and their decisions, but this is just stupid (at least SOME voters had better reasons that this nimrod).
