After being featured prominently in TNA wrestling, as Chris Harris, one half of the tag team America’s Most Wanted, Braden Walker debuted in the WWE without much fanfare, in a backstage segment of the organization’s “ECW on Sci-Fi” show. He would be seen on the program for three episodes, before being released.

Normally, that would’ve been the end of it, but some fans where inspired by the ridicule of said three weeks : a backstage vignette where he told a “knock-knock” joke, another one where he chatted with another wrestler, Matt Hardy, and two matches (against Armando Estrada and James Curtis). Fans laughed, for sure. But they would laugh even more a few weeks after Braden Walker’s release.

Why? A YouTube user, SWHFirebird, in August 2008, to make a video entitled “The Definitive Braden Walker”, promoting a fake 3-DVD set of the man’s WWE career :

The video was brought to the Internet Wrestling Community’s attention through many outlets and sites. Some made-up Photoshops or web sites where you could “order” the bogus video.

Others decided to make their own Braden Walker homage.

There's quite alot of similar "homage" videos. Always tongue-in-cheek.

Some of them with a new take on the subject. For instance, YouTube user The 8-Bit Boy decided to turn his 3-week career in a Hall of Fame one, in another diversion that got quite a lot of diffusion on the wrestling web.

Although Braden Walker himself, and his career, qualifies simply as a wrestling phenomenon called “wrestlecrap”, the Tributes, however, are truly a meme worth mentioning.
