Charli D'Amelio's "I Can't Do This Anymore" is an exploitable meme and TikTok green-screen CapCut Template trend in which users incorporate a clip of influencer and TikToker Charli D'Amelio saying, "I physically cannot do this," into their videos joking about buckling under work pressure. The clip comes from an October 2023 podcast episode with D'Amelio and American health guru Jay Shetty. A green-screened version of the meme then became a trend on TikTok in November 2024.
Origin
On October 30th, 2023, American mental health guru Jay Shetty posted a podcast episode to YouTube[1] featuring TikTok influencer Charli D'Amelio in which she spoke about how her sudden rise to fame as a teenager affected her mental health. At the 1-hour-and-22-minute timestamp, Charli says, "It was actually right when I hit a 100 million, I think I was at the lowest mental state possible and I looked so happy online and it got to the point where I was I was like I not doing this anymore like I physically cannot do this."
The soundbite was reposted to Jay Shetty's TikTok[2] on the same day, where it gathered over 3.7 million views and 230,000 likes in a year.

The audio snippet and catchphrase saw some usage in January and February 2024, however, it did not become a full-blown trend until November 2024 after it was reposted to TikTok and CapCut by Chief Green Screens[3] for the second time on November 10th (shown below).

On November 11th, 2024, the TikTok[4] page @twinklusa used the aforementioned green-screen video by Chief Green Screens, writing, "my teacher bestie and I venting after school everyday, knowing we'll be right back here tomorrow." The post gathered over 300,000 plays and 25,000 likes in two weeks.

On November 12th, 2024, TikToker[5] @stace_n_yo_face used the greens-creen clip to write, "Me and my nurse bestie at the beginning, middle and end of every shift, knowing we'll be right back here tomorrow."
