Haatmeneer (known in English as Hate guy) or Dit is niet mijn winkel vriend (This isn't my shop, friend!") is a Dutch meme about a Dutch-Moroccan man from Amsterdam, also known as Mo (short for Mohammed). When interviewed about a certain shop, Mo gets out of his car, asks for the camera to be stored away, and starts attacking the interview, stating "This isn't my shop friend!", and if they do not put the camera away, he will kill them. This famous one liner resulted in various photoshops and remixes, with most based upon "This isn't my X, Friend!"

Background

Rutger Castricum, a Dutch journalist from PowNews (part of Geenstijl.nl, which also owns Dumpert), went to Amsterdam Nieuw-West to interview a shop owner who had received 35000 Euros from the local government, just to repair their ceiling. However, when he arrived on the scene the only person there was Mo, who was not very happy when he was interviewed:

R: "Can I ask you something about the shop?"
M: "Put the camera away."
R: "What?"
M: "Put the camera away."
R: "I want to ask you something about the shop."
M: "Put the camera away."
R: "Why?"
Mo attacks the camera man. "Put the camera away away away! You can't film me like that otherwise I'll hit you!"
R: "Relax man"
Mo attacks Rutger
R: "We are just filming the shop!"
M: "This isn't my shop, friend!"

The original video on Dumpert.nl generated about 300K views, while the YouTube link hit 60K. This over the top reaction, copied with the response to Mo attacking an innocent journalist led to instant lulz, of course.

The first wave

The original video was put on Dumpert on the 7th of October.

Hours after the original video was uploaded, the first Photoshops of Mo appeared, spoofing his reaction.

A couple of weeks after the original wave, Mo's fanbase kept growing, which resulted in photoshops based apon his one liner rather than his actions.
