Originating from a humorous facebook post, "Krocodile Kyle" was introduced to 4chan and soon became a popular thread topic. These threads would consist of users creating "Krocodile Kyles" from the original .png template. Soon Kyle would appear in threads in which the specific depiction of the meme was relevant. Popularity has been rising and "/b/tards" will often create threads in which they dump their "Krocodile Kyle" folders. It is not certain how many "Krocodile Kyles" exist, however the frequency of threads pertaining would suggest at least hundreds.
