On July 6th, In response to the Axelle Despiegelaere and Kendall Jones scandals, Jay Branscomb posted a set photo from the movie Jurassic Park in which a mechanical triceratops is seen in the background with Spielberg posing in the foreground on Facebook with the comment, "Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man."
The post was shared over 30,000 times when it was first posted with people voicing their outrage with comments like, "Disgusting! I bet he only kept the horns!" or “I’d love to see these hunters be stopped. I think zoos are the best way to keep these innocent animals safe… a******s like this piece of s**t are going into these beautiful animals’ homes… and killing them. It’s no different to someone coming into your home and murdering you… I’m not watching any of your movies again ANIMAL KILLER,” and “Disgraceful. No wonder dinosaurs became extinct. Sickos like this kill every last one of them as soon as they are discovered. He should be in prison,” which goes without saying that dinosaurs haven't existed since prehistoric times. So how could people overlook this fact or be oblivious to who Steven Spielberg is or that he directed Jurassic Park? The story has since been covered on many websites and has been mentioned on plenty of social media outlets.
